• CanKids Support Units (CSUs) operate in (currently) 34 cancer centers across India
• CSUs work closely with Doctors at Pediatric Cancer Units and operate CanKids 'chatai clinics' outside pediatric oncology departments
• CanKids National Outreach Program (NOP) identifies gaps in support, plans, implements and manages CSUs
• The NOP recruits, trains, supervises and builds capacity of support teams (social workers, data managers, counselors, teachers etc.) usually with important support from Jiv Daya Foundation from the US
• Through its CSUs, CanKids provides 18 support services subsumed under its key Medical, Psycho-emotional, Educational and Awareness programs.
